Biography:

Deborah Gersony is a professional artist and former physician. She is devoted to plein air oil painting, capturing the outdoors directly from life. She also creates larger studio works in landscape, seascape, and animal studies.

She is an Elected Artist Member of the American Artists Professional League (AAPL), where she serves on the Board as Membership Director and Co-Director of the Grand National Exhibition at the Salmagundi Club. She is also an active member of several other art communities.

Whether outdoors or in the studio, Gersony seeks to capture the fleeting shifts of light, color, and atmosphere that make each moment unique.
