Biography:

After a 30+ year career as an award-winning graphic designer and illustrator, I returned to my first love for painting and drawing, working in a representational/impressionistic style using oils and pastels.

Light and how it affects form, color and mood are the fundamentals I follow to highlight the beauty and diversity I see in nature and in people. I work in my studio from my own sketches and reference photographs. Travel also influences my art. Seeing and interpreting as an artist gives me fresh perspectives on the places I’ve seen and the people I’ve met.
