Biography:

Rob Loebell was born in Philadelphia, graduated from theTyler School of Art, Temple University with a BFA in Sculpture. He has an M.Ed/Art degree from Temple University. 

He has lived in Connecticut since 1985. In addition to the Salmagundi Club, Loebell is an artist member of the New York Sculptors Guild, Canton CT Artist Guild, and The Silvermine Guild of Artists. He is an affiliate member of the First Street Gallery in New York, and an elected artist of The Mystic Museum and West Hartford Art League. He has had exhibits throughout New England, as well as in Philadelphia and New York. His work has been exhibited at the United Nations; Governors Island, Plaxall Gallery,First Street Gallery in New York. He has received grants from the Greater Hartford Arts Council, and has won awards from shows such as Art of the Northeast and Black and White at the Mystic Art Museum. He currently lives in Bloomfield, CT.
