Elizabeth Zanzinger studied traditional drawing and painting from life for 4 years with Juliette Aristides at Gage Academy of Fine Art in Seattle, Washington. While there, she enriched her education with workshops from many visiting figurative instructors. She completed her atelier experience with a fellowship at the Grand Central Academy, New York; with instructors such as Tony Curanaj, Travis Schlaht, Ted Minoff and Josh LaRock. Since then she has continued to develop her personal work alongside private commissioned portraits. She works full time in her Oakland, California studio where she regularly teaches academic drawing and painting from life, while continuing to enjoy her creative practice.
