This exhibition is a celebration of summer — the season of long light, open air, and the particular freedom and activities that come with it. Artists explored summer from any perspective that spoke to them: city, shore, or countryside; and how our summer pastimes and avocations feed our spirits.

This work carries summer’s energy at its heart.
