Welcome to the working world. Without it, our society would not thrive. This exhibition includes work from our club members, as well as invited NYC-based union members for a POV of the hands-on collective efforts that has shaped the way our world operates.
From physical work to quiet emotional labor, artists shine a light on the realities of working so that no effort goes unseen. The endurance of daily routines, the strain of skilled labor, and the ever-evolving conditions of contemporary work – together, these pieces form the lived experiences that are so familiar to human life: the experience of working.
