Welcome to the working world. Without it, our society would not thrive. Artists give you an up close POV of the hands-on collective efforts that have shaped the way our world operates. Among them are invited NYC-based union members whose work brings an additional layer of firsthand experience to the show.

From back-breaking physical work to quiet emotional labor, this exhibition lays out the realities of working so that no effort goes unseen. Together, these pieces form the lived experiences so familiar to human life: the enduring of daily routines and the strain of adapting to keep our world turning.
