In this exhibition, artworks come in pairs with each pair representing the life of an individual artist. Salmagundi Club members were encouraged to select one current work alongside one from 20 or more years prior. Each older work is a time capsule which holds a younger self who saw the world differently than they do today.

Every newer work holds a mirror to who that younger self would eventually become. The pairings here are as unique as the artists who made them. Through the creation of art, we manifest a tangible visual of how a person changes over time along with the marks they make on the world.
